One of the biggest issues is countries investing in the economy, but in the wrong way. I live in Zimbabwe and China is extracting natural resources for themselves instead of the government owning the mines. If the government owned the mines and were less corrupt then the government would have a lot of money for investment. China is helping us very little, and we don't want them taking our resources, but the government does, because China is paying good money, but only to the government which is, like I said earlier, corrupt. It simply won't work. There's another issue: Getting resources here is hard. Many, many resources here aren't produced close by because there is low amounts of people who can buy it, so the only resources that are cheap is locally farmed. Buying ice cream in like 7 USD because it's shipped from absurd distances. If there were more factories in African nations, we would have much more jobs and much more people who can afford the product. The problem is, companies are too afraid to invest in African nations, because the confidence for a return on investment is low. I wish people would understand us better. Not all of us are starving and poor. In fact, most of us aren't. We're humans too. I get up, I have a morning routine, I go to work like everyone else in the world. I buy groceries every week, and I make plans. Investors assume that we're all too poor, but I've been avoiding saying poor, because we're really not. Generalizing Africa like that is already offensive. Countries like Botswana have a surprisingly good average quality of life, even in the rural areas.

The problem of this earth is not overpopulation as you call it, it is consumption and capitalism. An ordinary citizen of the western world wastes 1kg in 5kgs of food he/she has access to. Check the per capita carbon footprint of an ordinary American or European. In fact speaking of food, the so-called developing world, these very same poor people you accuse of overpopulation, produce more food than the world can consume, but unfortunately the farmers get ripped off and get near to nothing for their cocoa or bananas, and cant feed their families. These products are underprized so the largely western consumer can buy cheap, then throw into the bin. Simple as that. This whole overpopulation argument is rubbish. You get people living in a three bedroom house in some western capital, having four cars in his carpark, every friday morning throwing away a tonne of food, then turning around and accusing a family of five, sleeping in one mud hut, eating a total of half his family consumption, of overpopulation. Its a complete fraud. Then there is capitalism, poor countries are stuck in a vicious cycle of poverty in many cases because the international trade order is designed to keep them stuck in extractive economies for the benfit of the western economies. These are developmental problems not population problems per se. Check Africa's population density, stop obsessing about its size in simple terms.Then you make a philosophical error, you mistake population size and growths alongside weak economic growth, for having a causal relationship. Population growth has neither a negative nor a positive effect on poverty, it is economic development that has an impact. You can develop an economy even at a time of high population growth. In fact in my country Botswana, it was at the height of of its populaiton growth that it exprienced its greatest economic growth, how do you explain that? Simply because economic growth has nothing to do with populaiton growth. It is the developmental strategy that has a relationship with poverty and of course, the world economic rules which are stacked against developing countries. Including the sponsorship of idiotic leaders in developing countries, by economic interests of the west. But of course your interest is in feeding these silly tropes of your followers fearing a planet over-run by people of a different hue, now we have to run the entire globe castrating males. Its ridiculous.

My grandma was born in the late 1920s/early 1930s, at the time life was hard for an average Sarawakian (which is now a part of Malaysia). She didn't have proper education, married my grandfather and had four children. My dad is the 3rd offsprings, he received education only up to high school. He was poor so he couldn't continue his study. I was born in the year 2000, I have 4 sibling and I'm the youngest of them. I'm now on my third year of higher education for degree holder. Time has changed, but I do think it will take another 30 - 50 years for Malaysia to be a major power in the world, now we are a growing economy country, quite modest on the ranking but we would need more time to punch it up to utilise our asset.

This isn't a huge issue as they can all move to Europe. Europeans have low birth rates and are on the way out anyway.
